1. Test with sediment, sediment-seawater slurry (Charleston and Savannah), consisting of 1 g of sediment and 50 ml of seawater in 125 mL bottles.
Test concentration of 14C-labelled anthracene: 2.5 mg/kg (no information whether dwt or wwt).
Temperature: 27 and 28 °C .
The flasks were carried out as triplicates.
Abiotic sterile control: with mercuric chloride added (10mg/g sediment)
