None of the components of the test item does contain groups that act as an oxidizing agent. The oxygen atoms that are present in the molecular structure of the test item are chemically bonded to carbon or hydrogen. The molecular structures of any impurities =<1% were not taken into account. In conclusion, JNJ-4370561-AAA (T002326) has no oxidizing properties.

Conclusions:
It is concluded that the substance JNJ-4370561-AAA (T002326) has no oxidizing properties.

Description of key information

Based on an expert statement (Reingruber, 2016), T002326 is considered not to contain any chemical groups indicating oxidising properties as the oxygen and halogen atoms present in the molecule are chemically bound to carbon and hydrogen. Further testing was not considered necessary and T002326 can be concluded to be incapable of causing fire or enhancing the risk of fire when in contact with combustible material.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
non oxidising

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

T002326 does not need to be classified as an oxidising substance as based on the chemical structure the substance does not contain any chemical groups indicating oxidising properties.
