Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing Media, suitable extinguishing agents: Use carbon dioxide, extinguishing powder or water jet. Fight larger fires with water jet or alcohol-resistant foam.

Can be released in case of fire. Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. Nitrous oxides,

Precautions for fire fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear full protective suit.Use water spray to cool un opened containers.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Ensure adequate ventilation.

Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided. Do not allow material to be released to the environment without proper governmental permits.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: Wear protective equipment. Contain spillage, and then collect with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and place in container for disposal according to local / national regulations. Dispose of contaminated material according to local / national regulations.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use. Keep containers tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed containers.
