Description of key information

Reliable short-term toxicity tests results are available on freshwater fish (Oncorhynchus mykiss), aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna) and algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata) for the registered substance. The relevant short-term values are:

Fish: 96h-LC50 > 100 mg/L (analytically confirmed nominal concentration)

Aquatic invertebrates: 48h-EC50 = 20 mg/L (95% CL: 17-25 mg/L; analytically confirmed nominal concentration)

Algae: 72h-

Growth rate: EC50 = 95 mg/L; NOEC = 10 mg/L; LOEC = 32 mg/L

Yield: EC50 = 22 mg/L (95% confidence limits of 18 - 27 mg/L); NOEC = 10 mg/L; LOEC = 32 mg/L

It was not possible to calculate 95% confidence limits for the ErC50 value as the data generated did not fit the models available for the calculation of confidence limits.

In addition, the 3h-NOEC on activated sludge was determined at 180 mg/L.
