Reference
Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
15 Mar - 5 Oct 2017
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
comparable to guideline study with acceptable restrictions
Qualifier:
equivalent or similar to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
flask method
Key result
Water solubility:
< 0 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
ca. 7

The Water solubility test was started at 14:30 hrs, 5 July 2017 and the three 30 mL samples taken at 09:00 hrs, 6 July 2017. The test temperature was 20 ± 0.5 °C (min 19.9 °C, max 20.3 °C and mean 20.1 °C).

The theoretical concentration at the time of sampling was 556.05 µg/mL, taking into account both dissolved and undissolved particles.

At a concentration of 0.000172 µg/mL; the first test sample recorded a turbidity of 0.070 NTU and the second and third samples at 0.0000172 µg/mL with a turbidity of 0.067 and 0.060 NTU respectively. It was therefore concluded that the water solubility is <0.00017 µg/mL.

Description of key information
