Nitrogen atmosphere (closed glass crucible):

The DSC-measurement in a closed glass crucible flushed with nitrogen showed no exothermic effects in the tested temperature range from 30 °C to 400 °C. See thermogram at page 15. In an open glass crucible under nitrogen atmosphere a moderate increasing exothermal heat-flow starting at 225 °C (onset) up to the final temperature of 400 °C was measured.

The test item is thermally stable under nitrogen atmosphere up to 225 °C.

Air atmosphere (closed glass crucible):

The DSC-measurement in a closed glass crucible flushed with air showed a small and broad exothermic heat-flow in the tested temperature range from 30 °C to 400 °C. The test item is thermally stable under air atmosphere up to 176 °C.The decomposition energy was measured with 20 -30 J/g.
