Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The melting point of the sample could not be determined at a temperature range of -150 to approximately 40 °C by Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC). There was no endothermic peak. The freezing point was measured using freezing point apparatus.

Conclusions

The freezing temperature of was less than -51 °C (222 K) at 101.4 kPa as there was no period of constant temperature. The test item remained a clear colourless liquid without showing any indication of a freezing process.

Conclusions:
A freezing temperaure value of <-51 °C (at 1014 hPa) was determined for the test substance according to OECD 102.

Description of key information

Freezing temperature: <-51 °C at 1014 hPa (EU Method A.1, differential scanning calorimetry and freezing point apparatus).
