Conclusions:
Under the conditions of this study (average temperature of 23.4°C), overall average HLC (unitless) for NOVEC 7700 was 40400 (%RSD = 36), the overall average log HLC was 4.6 (% RSD = 4.1).
Executive summary:

The Henry's Law constant of NOVEC 7700 was determined by the ratio of gas-phase concentration over aqueous-phase concentration. Duplicate test vessels were filled with water and dosed with NOVEC 7700 gas at three (70%, 50% and 30%) headspace:water ratios. The vials were incubated for 3, 4, 5 and 6 days at ambient temperature of 23.4 °C. Both the headspace and the water phase for each vial were sampled and analyzed in duplicates using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The average measured gas phase and waterphase concentrations were used to calculate Henry's Law constant for NOVEC7700 for each test vessel. The samples from time point 3 (5 incubation days) weredetermined to be statistic outliners and are excluded.Under the conditions of this study (average temperature of 23.4°C), overall average HLC (unitless) for NOVEC 7700 was 40400 (%RSD = 36), the overall average log HLC was 4.6 (% RSD = 4.1). The HLC (unitless) of 40400 can be converted to a HLC of 982 atm.m^3/mol.
