Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to Zebrafish (Danio rerio) was determined according to OECD 203 and EU Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008/C1 (2008) under GLP conditions. The 96 hour LC50 was determined to be 11.1 mg/L. Appropriate amounts of the test item were weighed and transferred to aquaria filled with appropriate volumes of the dilution water. The test media were mixed with an ultraturrax (1 minute, 17000 rpm). The nominal test concentrations were 0 (control), 1.55, 3.42, 7.51, 16.5, 36.4 and 80.0 mg/L. The measured concentrations of the test substance based on the mean values were 1.45, 3.27, 7.35, 15.9, 35.45 and 78.7 mg/L. The recovery rates were between 92 and 97 %. Therefore the results are based in nominal concentrations. The 96 hour LC50 was determined to be 11.1 mg/L.
