Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No sediment studies were available for the test substance.

This test substance is water soluble, but has the capacity to bind to sediment potentially via cationic exchange mechanisms. Therefore, the predicted no effect concentration (PNEC) for sediment was derived from the PNEC for freshwater using the equilibrium partitioning method. The measured Koc value of the test material  in soil of 21,380 L/kg (Log Koc = 4.33) was used in the PNECsediment calculation. Using the PNECsediment value that was calculated by the equilibrium partitioning method, the risk characterization shows that the PEC/PNECsediment ratio for the aquatic environment is <1, indicating no need for further information and testing.
