Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Technical protection measures
Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.
A local exhaust ventilation at workplace for reduction of exposure is recommended.

The personal protective equipment (PPE) has to comply with Directive 89/686/EEC and the relevant harmonized European norms.
The manufacturer must issue a declaration of conformity for the PPE. The product must bear the CE marking.

Hand protection: Wear protective gloves. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration time, permeation rate and degradation. Wash gloves before taking off with soap and water. Suitable are gloves of the following materials (and recommended thickness):

- Neopren (0.70mm),
- Nitrile (0.45mm),
- PVC (0.60mm). Not suitable protective gloves are made of the following materials: fabric, leather.
