Biodegradation in water: screening test (ready biodegradability):

A CO2-evolution test according to OECD guideline 301 B was performed in order to evaluate aerobic elimination and degradation potential of the test item (BASF 2015, 2015ESG0149R). An initial test concentration of 12.3 mg/L TOC (corresponding to 18.7 mg test substance/L) was applied. Based on the CO2 evolution, the percentage biodegradation of the test substance was 1.1 % after 28 days. Thus, under the conditions of the present study, the test substance cannot be considered to be readily biodegradable.
