First-aid measures

Description of first aid measures:In all cases keep the victim at physical and mental rest and warm. In all serious events and always in case of eye contact, seek for medical help.Inhalation:Breake the exposure, transfer the victim to the fresh air, apply artificial respiration, if the victim is not breathing.Skin contact:Take off immediately contaminated clothing and flush affected area with plenty of water (preferably lukewarm) and soap. Eye contact:Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Move to the physician.Ingestion:Rinse the mouth with clean water, make him drink 0,1-0,2 l of water, do not induce vomiting, seek for medical help.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, dry chemicals, carbon dioxide.Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons:Not known.Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:Development of hazardous gases or vapours possible in the event of fire.In case of burning, carbon oxides and nitrogen oxides are formed.Advice for firefighters:Prevent fire extinguishing water from contaminating surface water or the ground water system. In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 137) and clothing protective against chemicals.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency proceduresFor non-emergency personnel:Prevent access to unauthorised persons. Avoid formation of dust. Avoid inhalation of dust. Be aware of wind direction. Environmental precautions:Keep away from sources of ignition.Avoid releasing to sewerage system, avoid contamination water sources, waste waters, soil and vegetation. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:Collect in the designated closed containers for dangerous waste. Dispose according to section „Disposal consideration.“

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:Avoid contact with eyes and skin.Avoid inhaling of dust.Use personal protective equipment.Do not eat, drink or smoke during the work and observe the personal hygiene principles.Wash hands with water and soap before breaks and after work.Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:Store in original tightly closed packings in dry areas protected from direct weather conditions (light, heat, frost, moisture).

Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure limit value:No occupational exposure limits established.Exposure controlsExposure reduction (technical measures):Avoid generation of dust.If dust and/or airborne particulates may be generated, proper ventilation must be provided.Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace. The resistance of the protective clothing to chemicals should be ascertained with the respective supplier.Respiratory protection: if dust may be generated, wear dust filter mask,Hand protection:protective gloves,Eye/face protection:tight protective goggles,Skin protection:protective clothing, apron, boots, cap.Environmental exposure reduction:Uncontrolled escape of substance/formulation into environment is to be avoided.

Stability and reactivity

Conditions of stability: Stable under ordinary conditions.Conditions to avoid: Sources of ignition (open flame, sparks, hot surfaces, smoking).Materials to avoid: Strong oxidants. Strong bases.Hazardous decomposition products: In case of burning, toxic, irritating fumes may be formed (oxides of carbon, nitrogen oxides).

Disposal considerations

Disposal methods of the substance/preparation: Incinerate in incinerating plant for danger waste in accordance with local environmental regulations. Disposal methods of the contaminated packaging: Must be disposed of in compliance with the respective national regulations.
