The Koc value for NPEO was calculated with the MCI (Molecular Connectivity Index) approach of the KOCWIN v2.00 program (EPIWEB v 4.0) on a weighted-average basis using the mole fractions of all the individual constituents. The estimated Koc was found to be 2,661 L/kg, indicating a moderate potential for adsorption to organic matter.
The average estimated Henry’s Law Constant (HLC) for NPEO using both bond and group method approaches of the HENRYWIN v3.20 program (EPIWEB v 4.0) was found to be 3.21 x 10-7 atm-m3/mole (3.25 x 10-2 Pa-m3/mole). Based on this value, no significant volatilization of the substance from water is expected.
