Description of key information

The test substance is readily biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The biodegradation potential of the test substance has been determined in a manometric respirometric test with domestic activated sludge according to OECD guideline 301F [BASF AG 1990]. After a 14 -day lag phase, the test substance exceeded the pass level of 60 % within the 10 -day-window and can therefore be regarded as readily biodegradable (mean biodegradation after 28 d: 70 - 80 % BOD/ThOD).
