Acute toxicity testing was conducted with the green algae Selenastrum capricornutum printz exposed to propylene glycol n-propyl ether.

An acute toxicity test was conducted with the green algae, Selenastrum capricornutumprintz (now known as Pseudokirchnierella subcapitata) exposed to propylene glycol n-propyl ether (PnP). This study was designated the key study and was rated a Klimisch score of 1. The 72 -hr EC50 value was 3440 mg/L.
