Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Key result
Test procedure:
burning time over 250 mm for metal powders or metal alloys
Burning time:
2 min
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

Any other information on results incl. tables

A hot flame from a gas burner was applied to one end of the powder train for two minutes.

In the course of the preliminary test two replicate trials were performed. The test item could not be ignited.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The test item is considered not highly flammable.
Executive summary:

In the course of this study the flammability of the test item was investigated according to EC test method A.10.

Two flammability tests were performed. The tests were negative.

The test item is not flammable under the conditions of this test.
