Executive summary:

The acute fish toxicity test was performed according to a methodology similar to OECD Guideline 203 (CIBA method A-11). Zebrafish (Danio rerio) were used in the experiment setup. Two groups of fish were tested at the 300 and 1000 mg/L concentration. No mortality was found at 300 mg/L while all fish in 1000 mg/L dose group were dead after 4 h exposure. Hence, the LC50 of FAT 40278/A in this fish acute toxicity test was determined to be 462.39 mg/L.
