Conclusions:
The surface tension of a 1 g/L solution of tetraammineplatinum(II) hydrogen carbonate was determined to be 71.1 mN/m at 20.3 deg C, and is therefore considered not to be surface active.
Executive summary:

In a guideline study, conducted to GLP, the surface tension of a 1 g/L solution of tetraammineplatinum(II) hydrogen carbonate was evaluated by the ring method. The surface tension was determined to be 71.1 mN/m at a temperature of 20.3 deg C. Tetraammineplatinum(II) hydrogen carbonate is considered not to be surface active.

Description of key information

The surface tension of a 1 g/L solution of tetraammineplatinum(II) hydrogen carbonate was determined to be 71.1 mN/m at 20.3 deg C. Tetraammineplatinum(II) hydrogen carbonate is considered not to be surface active (Holldorf, 1997).
