Description of key information

Additional information

The substance is an orange powder at 101325 hPa and 20 °C.

Between 100 and 156 °C, there is a endothermic peak associated to the release of water/ solvent, no endothermic peak connected to the melting or boiling point has been found after DSC scan between 30 and 300 °C; therefore the melting/ boiling points is not recorded.

The relative density was determined by means of a pycnometer and recorded at 1.608 at 20 °C.

The particle size distribution of the test item was analyzed using the Mastersizer 2000 tool and the MMD resulted was 10.798 µm.

The substance is soluble and the logKow value was calculated as 0.0396 (average Pow: 1.0998).

Properties like vapour pressure, surface tension and flash point can be neglected.

The substance is not expected to be auto-flammable, flammable, explosive and it is deemed to be potentially not oxidising based on the chemical structure, the oxygen balance values, the thermal behaviour and the known experience in the handling and use of the substance.
