RESULTS

- Recorded temperatures and calculated vapour pressure values for the preliminary run are shown in Table 3.1 (attached).

- Direct values for vapour pressure at 25°C are shown in Table 3.2 (attached) and Figure 3.3 (attached).

- Direct values for vapour pressure at 40°C are shown in Table 3.3 (attached) and Figure 3.4 (attached).

- Direct values for vapour pressure at 60°C are shown in Table 3.4 (attached) and Figure 3.5 (attached).

- The test item did not change in appearance during the definitive run at 25°C

- The test item did change in appearance during the definitive runs at 40 & 60°C to a clear amber liquid

Conclusions:
The Vapour pressure of the test item has been determined at three temperatures and the results are as follows;
0.555 Pa at 25°C (298 K)
2.68 Pa at 40°C (313 K)
3.47 Pa at 60°C (333 K)

GUIDELINE

The determination was performed at three temperatures using the vapour pressure balance method and a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A.4 Vapour Pressure of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 104 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 23 March 2006.
