- The flash point of the test substance has been determined to be 125 °C at 1 atmosphere pressure.
- Executive summary:
The flash point was determined using EU Method A.9 closed cup equilibrium method. Starting at 50°C and attempting to ignite the test substance for every 2°C temperature rise a preliminary estimate of the flashpoint was determined as 124°C. A further definitive test was completed in duplicate which indicated the flashpoint was 125°C. Under the conditions of the study, the flash-point of the test substance is 125 °C at atmospheric pressure.
