Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

After irrigation with 200 mm, approx. 8 % of the applied N were found in 20 cm depth. When the soil was irrigated with 80 mm during the same time period, only 0.2 % were found in this same soil layer.

Depending on soil quality, up to 0.2 per cent of the applied N from Isobutylidenediurea were lost in mineralized form in leachate after 1.5 years (application rate: 220 kg Isodur/ha, 5 times per year; equivalent to about 733 kg N/ha).
