Conclusion on classification

The substance is readily biodegradable but has a potential for bioaccumulation (Log Kow: 5.99 ± 0.10 at 25°C; OECD 123, Slow-Stirring Method). Aquatic toxicity studies are available for invertebrates (EC50 (48 h): 0.10 mg/L) and microalgae (ErC50 (72 h): > 0.0858 mg/L; ErC10 (72 h): 0.054 mg/L). Therefore, the substance is classified as “Aquatic Acute 1” and “Aquatic Chronic 1” according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (7th ATP).
