Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item showed no reaction when a flame was applied as ignition source at ambient temperature. Using a hot wire as ignition source, decomposition gases were observed which could briefly be ignited by a flame. A propargation of the combustion was not observed.
Due to the fact that the pile could not be ignited with a flame, the main test was not necessary.
The combustion behaviour of the test item at ambient temperature is characterized by the combustion number BZ 1 (no ignition)
Executive summary:

The test itemis not a highly flammable solid in the sense of EC No. 440/2008 Method A.10

The test item has a combustion number BZ 1 (no ignition) acc. VDI 2263 sheet 1
