Additional information

The hydrolysis test was not performed as the test item is insoluble in water < 0.1 µg/L. The adsorption/desorption was found to be: Log 10 Koc in the range 3.95 to greater than 5.63. These values indicate that the test item will be immobile at pH 5.5.

The biodegradation of the test item after 28 days was found to be 36 %.Therefore the substace in not inherently biodegradable (OECD 302B) under the conditions of this test

In another key study COD of 1135 mg O2/g test material and BOD5 of 63 mg O2/g test material was determined. The relevant BOD5/COD quotient is <0.5, therefore the substance is not indicative of rapid degradation.

Taking the data from these studies into account, the test substance is considered to be not biodegradable.
