Additional information

The acute toxicity of 2 -chloroethanol to aquatic invertebrates was investigated in an immobilisation test by Thurston et al., using Daphnia magna as test organism. For the exposure period of 48 hours, an LC50 value of 212 mg/L was derived, based on measured concentrations (Thurston et al., 1985).
