The boiling point was determined to be between 244 - 245°C (OECD 103) by differential scanning calorimetry.
Literature data and data from different safety datasheets of several industrial manufacturers was presented additionally.

Several literature sources (peer reviewed handbooks or review article or safety data sheets) state boiling points between 130 and 227 °C for 'Amines, Coco alkyl'. Original references or methods applied were not stated. The study used as key study was performed according guideline OECD 103 and was therefore assumed to be the most reliable source. The boiling point was determined to be 244 - 245 °C °C by differential scanning calorimetry.
