Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The partition coefficient is determined to -1.45 at 23 °C and pH 6.9.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
at the temperature of:
23 °C

Additional information

The partition coefficient is determined in an experimental study following the quality management system of GLP. The study is performed using two of the available guidelines according to OECD. Whereas OECD 117 only stated that the log pow of the substance is lesser than of the lowest reference substance, OECD 107 give an exact result. Both results are consistent. No or only minor deviations with respect to the guidelines could be detected during determination. The result of both guideline determinations could therefore be considered as valid and is chosen as key value for the chemical safety assessment.
