- A stock solution was prepared at a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L: 503.4 mg of test substance was dispersed in 5 liters of test medium using ultra-sonic treatment and intensive stirring. Temperature of the medium had increased to 35°C during preparation. The final stock solution was a homogeneous suspension. This stock was used to prepare the different test concentrations.

- At 10 and 100 mg/L after 24 hours, all daphnids were found trapped at the surface of the test solution, they were re-immersed and then observed for mobility.
At 1.0 mg/L after 24 hours, a total of 3 daphnids were found trapped at the surface of the test solution, they were re-immersed and then observed for mobility.
At 100 mg/L, precipitation of the test substance was observed.
There was no immobility in any of the control samples.
