Executive summary:

A non-GLP-Study following the principles of GLP study was conducted according to a method of Fa. BAYER AG which is similar to OECD Guideline 105 for Testing of Chemicals (1995) to determine the water solubility of the test item. Two independent replicates of the test item in water were prepared by dissolving 100 mg test item in 100 mL water. The test item mixture was stirred for 24 h and 72h. After 24 and 72 h one replicate containing test item and one control replicate were filtered through 0.45 pm and analysed. The analytical quantification of the test item was carried out via analysis of dissolved organic carbon (DOC, according to DIN 38409 Part 3). The solubility of the test item was determined as mean of the 24-72 h time points to be 160 mg/L at 20 ±2 °C.
