Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

One valid study was considered suitable for risk assessment purposes. The ready biodegradability of the test item was determined by the Manometric Respirometry Test according to the OECD Guideline No. 301F with GLP compliance (Hammesfahr, 2015).

Degradation rate of test item calculated by the oxygen consumption of the aerobic activated sludge microorganisms after 60 days of incubation.

The test item did not reach 60% degradation during the test duration of 28 days. The degradation of the test item did not start before day 19 and the plateau was not reached within the first 28 days of incubation, therefore the test was prolonged to 60 days. At the end of the test after 60 days, the mean degradation of test item was 28% (ThODNH4).

Therefore, test item is considered to be not readily biodegradable.
