First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures- In case of skin contact:Wash with plenty of water and soap.-In case of eyes contact:In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.-In case of Ingestion:Do not under any circumstances induce vomiting. OBTAIN A MEDICAL EXAMINATION IMMEDIATELY.-In case of Inhalation:Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: None known to date.Treatment: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
-Extinguishing mediaSuitable extinguishing media: Water spray, carbon dioxide (CO2), foam and dry powder.Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Direct water jet.-Special hazards arising from the substance or mixtureDo not inhale explosion and combustion gases.Burning produces heavy smoke.Products of combustion include carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2).-Advice for firefightersUse suitable breathing apparatus .Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.Move undamaged containers from immediate hazard area if it can be done safely.
Accidental release measures
-Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency proceduresWear personal protection equipment.Remove all sources of ignition.Remove persons to safety.-Environmental precautionsDo not allow to enter into soil/subsoil. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it.In case of gas escape or of entry into waterways, soil or drains, inform the responsible authorities.Suitable material for taking up: absorbing material, organic, sand-Methods and material for containment and cleaning upWash with plenty of water.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handlingAvoid contact with skin and eyes, inhalation of vapours and mists.Don't use empty container before they have been cleaned. Before making transfer operations, assure that there aren't any incompatible material residuals in the containers.Contamined clothing should be changed before entering eating areas.Do not eat or drink while working.-Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilitiesVentilate where the product is stored and manipulated.Store container in a well ventilated position.Store in a dry area.Store in a cool place.Maximum storage temperature is 35 °C.Store in a dry, well ventilated place away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight.Keep away from food, drink and feed.Incompatible materials: Oxidizing agents and acids. Avoid contact with combustible materials. The product could catch fire. Full water jet.Instructions as regards storage premises: Cool and adequately ventilated.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side protection for chemicals (EN166).Protection for skin: Chemical protection clothing.Protection for hands: Not needed for normal use.Respiratory protection: For normal use is not required respiratory protection.Thermal Hazards: Products of combustion include carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2).Environmental exposure controls: Do not allow uncontrolled leakage of product into the environment.
Stability and reactivity
-ReactivityStrong oxidizing agents.-Chemical stabilityThe product is stable at normal handling- and storage conditions.-Possibility of hazardous reactionsKeep away from oxidising agents and strongly acidic materials to prevent the possibility of exothermic reaction.-Conditions to avoidAvoid high temperatures.Keep material away from heat, sparks, flames, static electricity.-Incompatible materialsOxidizing agents and acids.Avoid contact with combustible materials. The product could catch fire.Full water jet.- Hazardous decomposition productsProducts of combustion include carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
Disposal considerations
Recover, if possible. Send to authorised disposal plants or for incineration under controlled conditions. In so doing, comply with the local and national regulations currently in force.
