The test material Ethyl 2-naphthyl ether sweetener and floral agent .It is also used in jasmine, orange blossom, Cologne-based and hence considered to have negligible direct or indirect exposure to soil . The half-life period of Ethyl 2-naphthyl ether in soil is estimated to be 30 days (720 hrs).
