Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information : Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately
After Inhalation: Take medical treatment
After contact with skin: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water
After contact with eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of lukewarm wate and seek medical advice
After ingestion: Allow the patient to vomit of his own accord only if fully conscious
Advice to doctor
Symptoms: Cyanosis
Fire-fighting measures
suitable extinguishing media: water spray jet, carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder
Special hazards from the substance itself, its combustion products or from its vapours: In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbin monoxide (CO), Nitrous gases (NOx)
Accidental release measures
Environmetal precautions: Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil
Methods for cleaning up/taking up: Take up with suitable equipment and if necessary collect in closed containers. Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly with water and detergents, observing environmental regulations
Handling and storage
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Keep away from sources of ignition - refrain from smoking. The product is combustible.
Dust esplosio class: ST1 Capable of dust explosion
Further information on storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed, cool and dry

Exposure controls / personal protection
General protective measure: Do not inhale dust, avoid contact with eyes and skin
Hygiene measures: Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages. Wash hands before breaks and after work
Respiratory protection: Full mask, filter A
Hand protection: PVC gloves, Minimum breakthrough time (glove): not determined. Observe the information of the glove manifactures on permeability and breakthrough times and other workplace requirements. Minimum thickness/gloves 0.5 - 0.8 mm
Eye protection safety glasses / face shield
Body protection: protective clothing
During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained in accordance with Art. 18.
Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment technical, organizational and PPE measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted.
