306 °C

Additional information

The determination of the relative self-ignition temperature of the test item FAT 40849/A TE was performed in a valid GLP study according to EU Method A.16. Applying a linear increase in temperature of about 0.5 °C/min, FAT 40849/A TE showed an exothermic reaction starting at about 301 °C. A maximum temperature of 542 °C was measured in the sample cube during the exothermic reaction. At the end of the measurement, the test item was carbonized and colored black. FAT 40849/A TE shows a relative self-ignition temperature of 306 °C. FAT 40849/A TE is auto-flammable under the conditions of the test.
