Conclusion on classification

The substance is readily biodegradable and is not expected to be bioaccumulative (log Pow: 2.28). Aquatic toxicity studies are available for aquatic invertebrates (EC50 (48 h): 3.2 mg/L) and aquatic algae (ErC50 (72 h): 3.1 mg/L, ErC10 (72 h): 1.4 mg/L). Thus, the substance does not need to be classified for aquatic hazards according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (6th ATP).
