Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint:
flammable solids
Type of information:
migrated information: read-across from supporting substance (structural analogue or surrogate)

Results and discussion

Pyrophoric solids
Test procedure:
ignition time on contact with air
Remarks:
Ignition on contact with air refers to either Pyrophoric solids or Pyrophoric liquids depending on physical state (migrated information).
Remarks on result:
no ignition on contact with air (not further specified)
Remarks:
corresponding to 'no' in migrated source record.

Highly flammable solid (A10): No

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The test substance is not considered highly flammable. The test substance (source substance) bis(hydrogenated tallow C16-C18-alkyl)hydroxylamine is a structurally very similar substance to target substance hydroxylamines, di-C16-18 (even numbered) alkyl. It can be reasonably assumed that target substance is also not considered highly flammable.
