According to the table 4.1.0 of the CLP Regulation (EC n. 1272/2008), a substance for wich adequate chronic toxicity data are not available shall be classified as Aquatic Chronic 3 when:

96 hr LC50 (for fish) > 10 <= 100 mg/l and/or

48 hr EC50 (for crustacea) > 10 <= 100 mg/l and/or

72 or 96 hr ErC (for algae or other aquatic plants) > 10 <= 100 mg/l

and the substance is not rapidly degradable and/or the experimentally determined BCF ≥ 500 (or, if absent, the log K ow ≥ 4)

Based on the results of the available tests for all the trophic levels, the substance should be classified as Aquatic Chronic 3, H412.
