Description of key information

The 3-hour EC50 on micro-organisms activated sludge was higher than 1000 mg/L based on respiration rate, implying that Bis trifluoromethanesulfonimide Lithium is not harmful to aquatic micro-organisms from sewage treatment plants.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Two experimental studies (L'Haridon, 2002d and Desmares-Koopmans, 2007) scored as Klimisch 1 were selected as key study. It was performed in compliance with GLP and according to the OECD 209 guideline. Both gave same result: EC50 (3h) > 1000 mg/L.
