Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
According to the results of the Grewer Oven test for the pure test item, which showed no self-ignition up to 400 °C the test item is classified as follows concerning self-heating properties:
UN Transport Regulation: The test item is not classified as self-heating substance in class 4 division 4.2 according to the UN Transport Regulation.
GHS / CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008 Annex 1: 2.11:
The test item is not classified as self-heating substance according to GHS or CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008 Annex 1: 2.11, respectively.
Executive summary:

The self-ignition behaviour of the test item was determined in the Grewer-oven according to VDI 2263, sheet 1 and with respect to the classification procedure of the UN Transport Regulation (Class 4, Division 4.1) and GHS or EC 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation) Annex 1: 2.11), respectively.

In the investigation of self-ignition in the Grewer Oven no self-ignition was observed for the pure test-item up to temperature of 400 °C.

The test item mixed with Kieselguhr shows a self-ignition in the temperature range of 220 – 300 °C, which led to a maximum temperature of 450 °C.

based on these results the test item showed no properties for self ignition.
