The partition coefficient of the test material was determined in a study which was conducted under GLP conditions and in accordance with the standardised guidelines EU Method A.8. and OECD 117; using the HPLC method.

Reference substances and test material were dissolved in acetonitrile. Concentration of these stock solutions was about 1 mg/mL. The stock solutions were diluted with the eluent by 100 fold.

Three series of the above reference solutions were measured with two parallel injections, each. The retention times were determined. The three calibration series and three test material series were measured alternately.

The capacity factors k and log Pow for the test material were calculated based on the calibration data obtained with the reference substances; as the test material eluted before the first standard, an accurate value of log Pow could not be given.

Under the conditions of the study, the partition coefficient of the test material was calculated as < 0.9.
