Description of key information

a) Flammability:
The substance exhibited a flash point of 125.5 °C and hence is in the sense of the CLP-Guideline a non flammable liquid.
b) Flammability on contact with water:
The substance contains none of the functional groups quoted in UN-Manual Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods - Manual of Tests and Criteria (fifth revised edition, appendix 6, article 5.3) which may react with water to emit flammable gases. Therefore, it can be concluded by expert judgement that the substance does not emit flammable gases in contact with water. Testing according to UN-RTDG Procedure N.5 is not necessary.
