Experimental studies investigating the abiotic hydrolysis of Glyceryl undecylenate (CAS 123759-97-7) are not available. However, in accordance with Annex VIII, column 2, 9.2.2.1. of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, testing is not required since the substance is readily biodegradable. QSAR calculations for the main components conducted with HYDROWIN v2.00 resulted in half-lives of 2.63 – 7.71 years (at pH 7) and 96.13 to 281.6 days (at pH 8). respectively (Birkhofer, 2014). The calculated half-lives indicate that hydrolysis is not relevant for the substance.
