Additional information

The melting point of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline OECD 102.

The method selected for the determination was the capillary method, in which a sample of the test material was packed into a capillary tube and the tube inserted into a melting point apparatus. The temperature was slowly increased in order to observe the various phases of melting. The experiment was carried out in duplicate.

Under the conditions of this study, the test material was found to have a melting point of 166.5 °C.
