Description of key information

For both the dilithium azelate and dilithium sebacate test items, no boiling point was observed below 400°C. The dilithium adipate test item decomposed at temperatures greater than 250°C. Therefore, a boiling temperature could not be established for this test item.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
250 °C

Additional information

All three studies are GLP compliant and follow OECD guideline 103 and EU method A2. Therefore, all three studies were given a reliability rating of 1 (reliable without restrictions). For both the dilithium azelate and dilithium sebacate test items, no boiling point was observed below 400°C. The dilithium adipate test item decomposed at temperatures greater than 250°C. Therefore, a boiling temperature could not be established for this test item. Due to two of the test items having boiling temperatures of greater than 400°C and the third decomposing at temperatures greater than 250°C, the key value for the chemical safety assessment for the boiling point at 101325 Pa is taken as > 250°C.
