Description of key information
An estimated value for Koc was determined through the Molecular Connectivity Index (MCI) module in the KOCWINv2.00 model contained within Estimation Programs Interface Suite™ for Microsoft ® Windows, v4.00 (United States Environmental Protection Agency, 2009).
The adsorbability of based on read-across of a value for pyridine; a value of 0.095 g/g activated charcoal was cited from a reliable handbook.

The estimated Koc for 2-methylpyridine was 115.1 L/kg (equivalent to log Koc = 2.061).
The adsorbability of 2-methylpyridine was based upon the adsorbability value for pyridine, of 0.095 g/g activated charcoal, cited from a reliable handbook.
