Description of key information

For liquids, the primary value for ease of ignition is the flash point.
Based on experience in handling and use of the test substance it can furthermore be excluded that the substance exerts pyrophoric behaviour or flammability on contact with water.

Justification for classification or non-classification

As the substance has a flash point > 60°C, a classification as a flammable liquid is not required according to the criteria described in section 2.6.2.1. of Annex I to EU Regulation No. 1272/2008 on the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP).

Likewise, classification for flammability is not required according to Directive 67/548/EEC (Dangerous Substances Directive) for substances having a flash point > 55°C.
