Additional information

One experimental study is available investigating the toxicity of the substance to the freshwater fish, Danio rerio (Scheerbaum, 2010). The study was conducted according to OECD 203 and GLP under semi-static conditions. Prior to the definitive test a limit test was conducted with a 100% saturated solution of the test item. All fish died after 24 h of exposure. The definitive test was performed with following test item concentrations: 0, 0.136, 0.283, 0.589, 1.193 and 2.440 mg/L (geometric mean of measured concentrations). The test concentrations were analysed by SPME-GC-FID at the beginning and the end of the exposure. Recovery rates ranged between 28 and 64% of nominal and therefore effect concentrations were based on the mean measured values. After 96 h, 71% mortality was observed at 2.440 mg/L whereas 0% mortality was recorded in the remaining concentrations. The LC50 (96 h) was calculated to be 1.945 mg/L (geom. mean, measured).
