Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The acute toxicity of the substance to the freshwater invertebrate Daphnia magna over a period of 48 hours was tested under GLP in a static test system in accordance with OECD Guideline 202.

Since an immobilisation was not observed under static conditions in the range-finder test with a saturated solution and a recovery rate of 104 %, a limit test was performed with a saturated solution. The substance concentration of the saturated solution and the control were analysed by HPLC-DAD at test start (fresh media) and after 48 hours (old media). This analysis of the test preparations indicates a recovery rate of 89 %, so that the results are based on geometric mean measured test item concentrations.

Effects on the mobility of Daphnia magna were not observed after 48 h exposure to a test item concentration of 0.37 mg/L (mean meas.). Thus, the 48-h EC50 value was estimated with > 0.37 mg/L.
